COOLCITY Monitoring
CoolCity Monitoring allows for continuous supervision and forecasting of changes in blue-green infrastructure. The analysis covers the entire city, and the assessment is based on objective and measurable indicators. Monitoring assumes the repeatability of measurements performed regularly, e.g., every two years, which makes it possible to observe changes, identify trends, and react quickly to anomalies.

The map indicates trees that were cut down in a selected time period. This way, you can monitor tall greenery also on private lands where tree cutting can be carried out without the knowledge and consent of the office.
The analysys results are indicators monitoring the share of tree crowns, and the share of tree losses in a given area.

Tree and planting growth
The map indicates new trees from a selected time period. This information gives the city the ability to analyze the growth rate of different tree species planted in different environmental conditions. Based on the growth map, spatial indexes of the share of tree crowns are generated.
Proper tree growth in a given area allows for the transfer of planting activities to another place.

Five adaptation challenge indexes are monitored over a given period of time. This allows the city to quickly assess where the state of the blue-green infrastructure has rapidly deteriorated or improved.
By breaking down the result into 52 spatial indexes, it is possible to precisely find out what is the source of this change.
